My wife and I are separated and in a legal battle over the division of our property at the family court. Among the property under dispute is an apartment partly owned by us,and also my family, which is empty and in a terrible state after the tenants left without any trace. How can I get it repaired and rented out ,and stop losing potential income, until our case is decided, if my wife refuses to co-operate and contribute to the repair costs?

You can ask the family court for  permission to repair and re-let the apartment and give instructions on this, within the property proceedings that exist between you. If necessary, the court  can give instructions for a special bank account to be set up ,into which the rent can be paid, and for the repairs to be paid for from this, and can even appoint a trustee/s  (for example, each party’s lawyer) to manage this process .
